Meet the Team
Dr. Kate Sahafi, D.D.S.
Dr. Kate Sahafi has spent her professional life dedicated to giving her patients the highest level of quality dental care while focusing on both long-term health and aesthetics.
Veneers/Crowns, Bridges, Natural Looking Fillings, and 1-Hour Power Teeth Whitening are only some of the procedures that Dr. Sahafi uses to create beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.
Dr. Sahafi earned her Doctorate of Dentistry's Degree at University of Lille II, France, in 1996. She earned her post graduate degree from UCLA and completed her training in Cosmetic Dentistry at the UOP in San Francisco.
Dr. Sahafi has earned her clinical expertise in the field of Advanced Functional Aesthetics from the world renowned Las Vegas Institute which trains the top 1% dentists world wide.
In 2009 Dr. Sahafi attended a mini-residency programe in Sleep Apnea directed by Dr. Dennis Bailey and Dr. Merill at the Craniofacial Pain department of UCLA School of Dentistry. There she learned how to diagnose and treat patients suffering from sleep apnea who are intolarant to CPAP (Please the Sleep Apnea page for more details).
In her relentless effort to provide the best quality dental care to her patients, she continuously hones her skills by investing tens of hours in continuing dental educational courses.

Dr. Farnaz Fadavi, Endodontist
Dr. Fadavi is a board certified endodontist with more than ten years of experience in the field of endodontics. Dr. Fadavi is dedicated to provide you and your family with the highest quality dental care possible. Her ten years of experience in the field of endodontics has created a highly qualified Endodontist.
Dr. Fadavi obtained her master and certificate in Endodontics in 2002 from Boston University School Of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Fadavi was awarded in 2001 the Honor Student Research Award and in 1999 The Dental Biomaterial Award.
Her personal Quote is "i would describe myself as a caring person with a very gentle touch".
Samira Samini, Periodontist, Dental Implant Surgeon
Dr. Samini is dedicated to provide you and your family with the highest quality of dental care possible. Her eighteen years of professional education, training and experience have created a sincere, caring, and highly qualified Periodontist and dental implant surgeon.
Dr. Samini obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Samini was awarded the degree of Doctor f Dental Surgery(DDS) from The University Of Tennessee. Following Dental School, Dr Samini completed a one year Residency in Hospital Dentistry at the Veteran Administration Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She received training in Oral-Maxillofacial surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics and Prosthodontics.
Dr. Samini further completed a further two year residency in Advanced Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the Medical College Of Georgia. She was awarded a Specialty Certificate in Periodontics.
She has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics in 1992.
Jeannie Malborn, Hygienist
Jeannie Malbon, RDH, BS, has been associated with our practice for over twenty nine years. A couple of years after receiving her Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Degrees from Cerritos College, she began practicing in our office where she continues her great work.
When Jeannie's two children were old enough, and volunteering in their school was no longer needed, she went back to school and obtained her B. S. degree in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis.
Jeannie is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, California Dental Hygienist Association, and Orange County Dental Hygienist Association.
Jeannie loves most sports, but she is specially fond of walking and hiking. Yoga is another favorite of Jeannie's, where it keeps her "balanced" and in good mental and physical health.
Jeannie's philosophy is a great one: "I believe when love and respect are practiced, it can become a two way street".
Janelle O'Rork, Hygienist
Janelle started as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in 1989. She became a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in 1995. Janelle teaches Dental Assisting (DA) program at Orange Coast College. She is married with 2 kids and has been working in Newport Beach for the last 14 years.
Marillyn Henry, Hygienist
First of all I love working for Dr Sahafi and the entire staff. It's a happy enviroment filled with people who like and care about the patients. This is what I call a first class office. Just a little about me! I live in Newport Beach with my 3 precious dogs. I graduated from USC with a BA in History and from Northwestern University. I obtained my Hygienist degree.
I love Yoga, walking. I really enjoy my home and backyard.
Annette Hill, RDA
Annette Hill has been a Registered Dental Assistant for the last 27 years. Annette is a warm and a caring person with a smile that brightens anybody's day. She loves southern California and has lived and worked in Orange County her whole life. Once you meet Annette, her wit and personality will win you over.
Annette attended the National Institute for Health Sciences for her degree in dentistry. She has also attended Orange Coast and Golden West Colleges for continuing education courses. She is passionate about her job and it shows through her excellent work.
Annette has experience working with all 7 dental specialties: General, Periodontic, Pedodontic, Oral Surgery, Endodontic, Orthodontic, and Prosthodontic.
Jocelyn Perrero, Receptionist
Jocelyn was born and raised in the Philippins and migrated to US in 1993. She started as a dental assistant but she loved front office work and customer service so she worked her way up.
Jocelyn is married with three wonderful boys, Kyle 11, Karl 8 and Frank 5 years old.
Jocelyn started working for Dover Dental in 2011 and from day one we all fell in love with her. She is genuine and sweet. Jocelyn loves to bake and surprises us with different foods or pastries, and of course like all girls, she loves to shop.
